K.ONDA

10 years of research and development have formed this wave line.

Continuous little retouches have made this model extremely reliable and performing.

Konda is a sail that is totally dedicated to those who love to cut the waves until they hit the lip hard, and then you’re off again… up and down the waves….until sunset.

All this thanks to K-ONDA.A consolidated pinnacle in hard-core wave design; stable neutral and reliable, a sail with which you can safely face even the most challenging conditions.Further reinforcements at the critical points, improved visibility and better manoeuvre sensitivity, this sail will not fail to astound you.

Constructed in coloured X-Ply of various densities according to the areas of greater stress, it has simplified regulations and will be a great partner in the all major “swells”.
Strength and reliability are its strong points.

Recommended masts: Challenger Sails PSP SHORT 75%, SHORT+ 100%, NEEDLE+ 100%

How to rig:

The sail must always be hauled in downhaul so that at least the top of the sail (between first and second head battens) foils. As the wind increases make sure the area between the second and third battens foils well. Outhaul the clew so that under slight pressure it doesn’t immediately touch the boom in leeward. When the wind picks up and you haul in downhaul also remember to outhaul the clew.
