The Freestyle wave!

After a sensational success in the 4 batten sizes of the 2010 version, we have worked 6 months on development in both Australia and the Canaries to obtain the same results on the bigger sizes. Our results are now having the whole range from 3.7 to 6.3 on a 4 batten structure.

The new 5.7 and 6.3 have more power, lighter feeling (1kg less!) and better stability than previous models. 

The weight of the product has gone through a methodical research process in order to improve the durability and quality of the product but still reduce the weight; we did not go hunting for particular or super tecnical sailing materials to save the 30grams on a meter square as these materials are sensitive and prone to delamination.

Downhaul the sail so that at all times batten 1 and 2 from the top are opening with a loose leech. In stronger wind you can downhaul to have a loose leech till the third batten.  Outhaul should be given just to feel a light pressure while fastening the rope to the boom cleat. Remember to also pull more outhaul, if you pull more downhaul when  the wind increases.
